You’re welcome to leave any cut flowers, but please be sure to remove any cellophane or other non-biodegradable items first. You can plant wildflowers too if you’d like, but these must be native to the UK. We sell wildflower seeds and bulbs if you’d like to get them from us. Please do not leave trinkets or other memorial items.

Yes, as long as it’s the right time of the year as described above. Otherwise, just wait until autumn comes round before scattering them at your site.

Scatter the seeds in spring or early autumn on bare earth. Try to do it on a day when there’s rain forecast, but if you can’t wait, water them in after you’ve scattered them.

Our seed balls contain a mix of 34 annual and perennial species of native wildflower, which are perfect for bees, butterflies, birds, moths and other precious pollinators. They also contain peat soil to help them grow and organic chilli powder to deter insects and other wildlife predators from eating them before the seeds have had a chance to germinate.
